Opponents of East Sacramento senior housing project buy property
A suit filed to stop a senior housing facility from being built on the site of a vacant Jehovah’s Witness church in East Sacramento at 3333 I Street, has come to an unlikely end, with the plaintiff buying the property from the developer.
In a statement issued Tuesday, an attorney for Dessins LLC confirmed his client acquired the property from the developer, DT Real Estate Investments LLC.
DT Real Estate had planned a 19,660-square-foot, three-story senior care building on site. Neighbors had concerns that there would be a lack of adequate parking for the facility.
Dessins LL indicates the property now will be left as it is.
