Hidden breakfast gem in Midtown: Harry’s Cafe
Those who work in downtown or midtown Sacramento will likely scoff at the idea that Harry’s Cafe is “hidden”, since the tiny 16th street eatery is packed with regulars on a daily basis, mostly for lunch. But for those outside the grid, Harry’s is a hidden gem begging to be discovered.
Harry’s Café serves Chinese, Vietnamese, and American food, all of which is a reflection of owner Harry Luong – a Chinese man who grew up in Vietnam and moved to the United States in search of the American Dream. While the lunch and dinner options are good (try the oxtail stew), it’s the breakfast options that keep me coming back.
