Video: Gov. Brown helps with the Christmas turkey in the newly renovated Governor’s Mansion

Gov. Jerry Brown and First Lady Anne Gust Brown hosted Christmas dinner Dec. 25, 2015 for about 30 friends and family in the newly renovated Governor’s Mansion. This is the first Christmas in the Mansion since it was renovated in 2015. Gov. Brown’s family history at the mansion dates back to when his father was governor in 1959-67. The mansion, purchased by the state in 1903, has been maintained as a state park and museum and has not housed a governor since Ronald Reagan in 1967. Now it even houses the Brown’s two Corgis Sutter and Colusa. Video by Sue Morrow smorrow@sacbee.com. Photography by Lezlie Sterling lsterling@sacbee.com.
