Call to action for Theodore Judah from Neighbors United for Smart Growth
Neighbors United for Smart Growth, established to serve as a unifying voice for concerns about the potentially negative consequences of the McKinley Village project, has put forth a call to action concerning Theodore Judah Elementary School with regards to McKinley Village. They are asking neighbors to contact local school board representative District 3 School Board Member Ellen Cochrane (Ellen-Cochrane@scusd.edu) and Sacramento City Unified School District District Superintendent Banda (JLBanda@scusd.edu) by Thursday, May 21 with the following requests:
1. Designate Theodore Judah as the neighborhood school for residents of McKinley Village.
2. Support the construction of a permanent structure (and reject the proposal to move an old portable from a closed facility) at Theodore Judah.
3. Utilize the McKinley Village school impact fees specifically for the construction of the permanent structure at Theodore Judah.
