McKinley Village gets approval for underpass
McKinley Village has gotten the go-ahead to build a railroad bridge and underpass to help with access, according to Capital Public Radio.
Developers of the infill home project in East Sacramento, Phil Angelides and The New Home Co., got an agreement with the city of Sacramento and Union Pacific Railroad to create the vehicle underpass. It’s expected to cost about $12 million, according to Capital Public Radio.
Work on the first homes in the 336-residence project is expected to start in May.
