Lawsuit thrown out against proposed 32-bed senior center on I Street
A judge has thrown out a lawsuit against a proposed senior residence home at the site of a former Jehovah’s Witnesses church at 3333 I Street in East Sacramento.
Residents have concerns that the 32-bed assisted living facility for seniors will cause issues with traffic, sewer, fire safety and neighborhood aesthetics, according to the suit. The center, a 19,660-square-foot, three-story building will only have seven parking spaces for staff and visitors (“East Sac Senior Center Up before Planning Commission“).
