The East Sacramento Preservation Speaker Series will host historian, author and US Forest ecologist Paula Peper Wednesday, January 14 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Clunie Clubhouse for an overview of the development of Sacramento  particularly East Sacramento.

The presentation includes refreshments and a free raffle of eight full-color, heirloom quality books from the Roots of the Past series on Sacramento park neighborhoods, trees and townships.
